Question by Hitchhiker: Help me pick a political party. Not just rep or dem.?
What party do I belong in? Some people say I sound like a libertarian, others say a dictator and some say anarchist. It doesn’t make sense. What do you think? (read below)
VERY Fiscally conservative. Only tax I would tolerate is sales tax. Funds would primarily be spent on Defense, Education, and public infrastructure (roads, wires, etc.)
Very unregulated society except for common sense protection of the people from large affects like pollution/poison and disastrous type events (don’t allow construction in flood zones or building dynamite factory in a neighborhood type things). Basically freedom as long as it doesn’t hurt other people.
Don’t believe criminal “rehabilitation” works. Change it to criminal punishment. Red handed crimes against other people (robbery, rape, murder, etc.) are all worthy of quick, expedient, execution by the cheapest means possible. Humans who prey on other humans are no longer considered humans.
Separation of church and state with religious freedom.
No welfare without work. No exceptions. Push most of the charity back to the religious institutions where it belongs.
No illegal drugs (only illegal use scenarios like DUI etc.). People that want to kill themselves can do so.
Structurally, I’d change the government. House would be replaced by direct electronic vote. Senate could query their states for a direct electronic vote. (Maintain the state vote and population vote but just remove much of the “representative factor”).

Um the forced labor… yes. Basically, if you’re coming to the government for charity (instead of a church), then yes, you can do SOMETHING… sweep streets, plant trees, lick postage stamps, etc. If they don’t like, then they can try their luck at a real job.
Executions, double yes. Society has career criminals living amongst the population OFF the population. For many, they are completely irredemable and nothing good ever comes of them. Even the military won’t take them. Executions would hasten their evolved obsolescence. (Same as a village would do 10,000 years ago).

You want slightly more government control than a Libertarian, but I think you’d come over to the Libertarian side once you heard a few good arguments for even less government than you’re proposing.

You can be Fiscal Conservative like me. I want low spending across the board, low taxes. I feel like money should only be spent on taxes to pay for what can’t be privatized. Executions is fine with a Fiscal Conservative.
Since being Fiscal Conservative is about reduction of government spending and government liabilities. Human rights are not issues. So what ever you like with that is fine.

You sound pretty much like a Libertarian, but consider this: the sales tax is the most regressive tax we have. It falls hardest on people with low incomes, because it applies to many necessities that must be purchased regularly. The income tax rate increases or decreases according to income (think: ability to pay). The sales tax rate is the same for a millionaire or for a struggling student or single mother.
It is quite useless to put an addict in a rehab centre unless he/she actually wants to break the habit. Rehab only succeeds when the addict has made up their mind they want off. I skilled councillor can sometimes achieve this by getting the addict to see things differently or give them the support they need to make it through. One of the more viscous aspects of drug taking is that the drugs make the person think it is okay to? use. They don’t call drugs ‘mind altering’ for nothing.

Rehab counselors must deal with patients who realize that they need help? as well as those who are in denial and have been forced into a program by family members.

Since drug abuse has? become so common in the world that consulting a rehab center nowadays is no big thing. Counselors and experts handling those centers have become quite used to the calls and are not shocked any more. They are there to help us to get rid of the bad habit that we took in. It is nothing to be ashamed of.
In the long run only education will be the answer to drug use. Until more kids and others have better solutions to their problems than? taking drugs the epidemic will continue. Drugs do not make anything better. While they may give a short relief from upset and depression or shyness they don’t and can’t fix the problem. The only effect drugs have on personality is to make it worse than it is. You can’t fix your brain by drugging it.
Reality? check makes it clear that even the most perfect cities have a thin boundary line of drug addiction. Many countries though who have started facing the reality have made many drug rehabilitation centers which help addicts to get out of their addiction of drugs and alcohols.
Drug addiction is any day more than what we? see in movies, read in books or see in an interview. Closing your eyes does not mean that you can pave your way from reality. The reality is that even in places where people are bound to think that they lead a perfect life and things like drug abuse can not make harm to them is actually not true.
Yes timely is the? word. So many parents leave it too long thinking they are helping by supplying all the needs of their addict and letting off the responsibility hook.
However,? with timely intervention, the addicts can definitely come back to their normal lives and lead a healthy life thereafter. Only some awareness and mature thinking is what is needed in order to address these issues just as they would address any other health issues of their loved ones.
